There is one thing you cannot rule out and might be overlooking. The company may survive and continue to exist, but only after a bankruptcy filing that would wipe off the existing shareholders and the burden that they constitute. The company may then be able to start with a clean slate and get on with its business.

Oh, that will never happen? Never say never! Some people are talking about such a scenario in the case of EXDS. A couple of years ago, you would have been laughed out of town if you had said that about EXDS. But here we are, right now.
