Good point, but who would have the power to raise capital at this time? GX bond holders who had shorted earlier would make out fine, but does Winnick own any bonds?<g>

Once the capital flow increases, GX could possibly do better by obtaining more capital on their own rather than needing a buyout. Investors know if GX can possibly survive, GX would spring ahead solo much more handily than under another owner such as VOD, BT, DT, NTT or whoever else might be interested. WCOM is an interesting example to compare as it has such a great fiber net, yet the legacy incumbrances mask their fiber-growth. Wasn't there some recent talk about a separation of the two sides of their biz ?

Just my thoughts.
