Some more evidence of 'deflation' appears to be arising-

While we know that debasing the currency is really the only bullet the Fed has in it's arsenal- There comes a time in the LT economic cycle where the money is supplied, but there are no takers. This happens at the end of a credit binge, and is caused, in part, by credit saturation.

While none of us has experienced a serious deflation first hand (we can only read about the last major occurence in the 1930's), we should be on guard for it nonetheless. Many signs of deflation have been seen already. Falling commodities, falling equities, falling interest rates. When it starts to hit consumer goods and real estate, I don't think it can be denied.

Just trying to play devil's advocate here. <g>
