We know one guy and a gal who are struggling to make it in their acting/TV careers, and they both made the move in their late 30's! This would have almost been unthinkable 20 or 30 years ago. One is barely making a living wage, while the other has to keep their job as a doctor's secretary. I would be mildly surprised if even one of them makes it, and if both of them make it I would'nt believe it.... The competition is intense! As Paul Reiser has said in the past, if he had not walked into the wrong room by mistake at the right time, he would have had a much tougher go of it in Hollywood.
