No. If Helms is such a racist, where is the evidence? One would think it would be all over the place to listen to those who condemn him as a racist. I don't agree with him much. My views are somewaht more moderate than his, but I don't see him as a racist either. For instance, I would not have opposed Bill Weld as Ambassador to Mexico. What in particular has he done as a Senator to earn the racist label, in your view? JLA
