Mephisto, There is an excellent presentation in today's edition of the Seattle P-I on ANWR. It is contained in the Get Aways section and was written by Joel Connelly. He makes the case for preserving this beautiful, pristine wilderness. Notice that Jennifer Dunn, a powerful figure in the Republican Caucus from the State of Washington, voted against exploration in ANWR. She probably noticed that Al Gore carried her district by 10,000 votes.
