I agree that you have a valid point with regards to foreign relief workers in general, however, you have also failed to acknowledge that it is impossible for many to separate religious belief from religious practice. The very reason that many of these people go over there is because they have a "call" on their life to share the love of God in practical ways that demonstrate His love. Having no such convictions yourself you could not possibly understand where these people are coming from. Christian mission groups are by definition, motivated by a desire to share the love of Christ. The Taleban should simply refuse all such organizations access to their country. If these Christians are prisoners, they are prisoners of conscience. Perhaps you should write A.I. and tell them that all their efforts are useless, after all, they are just getting what they deserve.

Neither you or I have any real information about the details of what happened, yet you are perfectly happy to let someone die who could have conceivably said something as innocent as "the reason that we do these acts of love, is because we have experienced the love of God through Jesus Christ"

Finally "The blood of the martyrs are the seeds of the Church" In many respects killing Christians is just like throwing water on a grease fire. It has been tried and all it does is spread the word, that those people loved us so much that they were prepared to die if that's what it took to bring us the message of freedom through Jesus Christ. Rulers from Rome to China have all tried to wipe out the Christian message and all have failed. The Taleban are a bunch of pikers compared to those who have gone before them. Would you die for Atheism? I thought not.

I just think it's the height of hypocrisy for you to attack the Taleban for blowing up rocks, while applauding them for killing Christians, simply because you don't like their message. But hey that's just me.
