I understand that you were thinking about your salad. I did not have a salad to entertain me as I stood in line today and my daughter was off entertaining herself with her friends.

I want to try teaching all levels before I decide. I know I really like elementary- except for k and 1st. I do not like those grades. I like to make puns and allow myself digressions, and first and k children just can't follow you. My kids could, but they were used to it. However, second graders appear to be fine with my style and I've taught everything up through 4th. I enjoyed those 3 grades- they are all different, but all interesting. I don't like the large class size of 4th grade- and the class loads become positively enormous in middle and high school, but I will try it anyway.

Good luck with your first dinner.
Serving actual food is probably a smart idea.
