"dyke" a tabular igneous intrusion cutting across the bedding or other structures in the country rock. In the case of GMO carrying a thin vein system that carries some rich gold grades thatt Tambanis suggests is mineable at 10 g/t. Need to drill along the system to get a good idea, you are still talking a small number of ounces, this is no elephant. By comparison Charters Towers has not one near surface system, but HUNDREDS, not in dykes but near surface fissure veins above SEVEN major quartz gold systems. EACH QUARTZ SYSTEM IS BETWEEN 3-6 MILES LONG, the Brilliant/Day Dawn has a surface expression 3.5 miles long by 2 miles down dip (produced 3.5M ozs @ 30 g/t from SOME AREAS) WHEREAS GMO dyke is about 1-6 feet wide and maybe several hundred feet deep with an extension of several hundred feet, then a barren area then maybe another mineralized dyke section.
