we need something to break the bear's back! Lower interest
rates didn't do it. Improving btb didn't make it.
Improving conditions for wireless company (viz., tqnt
cc) didn't make it. Now the main negative pull on the tech
market has most recently been provided by the telecom
sector and the likes of CIEN, SCMR, LU, etc. So CSCO calling
a bottom in this sector begs the question: what else is
going to provide the negative pull now? The kind of food
that feeds analyst/pundit downgrades... I don't think there
is that much left short term. This might just be the type
of environment in which big and small money finally feels
confident enough to re-enter the tech market. Not
necessarily in a major way. But nevertheless in a manner
sufficient to break the down trend.
