Some good arguments... but, I fail to see the bullishness of the GS comm index- futures.tradingcharts.com Looks alot like Mt. Fuji to me. <g> Only Gold is rising in metals- because of its monetary value- it's security. Same reason gov't bonds are doing well. Silver is absolutely dead, steel is in the crapper, and copper is sliding down the hill. I posted an examination of the long wave in capitalist economies a while back. I'll see if I can find the link. The K-wave. Deflation always follows disinflation, at least for the past couple hundred years anyway. Not a pretty thought, but hey life aint always pretty. <g> I can't see oil or paper holding up much longer if deflation is here, so I'm going to watch it closely.
