OK, major "hassle problem". The g-damn Realplayer keeps foisting itself into my startup programs, no matter what I do. I use the MSCONFIG to uncheck it from "startup", but then every time I use Realplayer, it goes in and is back in my "startup" and then hangs in my tray. I would happily not use this crap, but unfortunately many sites play only on Realplayer. This problem with persistently foising itself into the "startup" occurs only with Realplayer. Other programs once removed through MSCONFIG, and subsequently used by me, stay off the "startup" despite the "once in a while" use. But Realplayer sees that as an opportunity to foist itself again. And then I have to go to MSCONFIG and uncheck it, and re-start the computer AGAIN! I HATE THAT. I wish Realplayer would go away, too bad some sites insist on using it exclusively.

Anyone know of a way to prevent Realplayer from foisting itself again into my "startup", once I use it? Any advice would be much appreciated. TIA.

Morgan
