Thanks for the reference. We never learned much about Canadian history in my U.S. schooling. Then several weeks ago I found out that a major branch of my ancestors rafted their wagons across the Niagara and settled in southern Ontario after the Revolution. They were there for the War of 1812, and the uprising against the Family Compact in 1837. I've always enjoyed trips to Canada, so it's kind of fun to find out I have Canadian heritage.
