Revenue rose 3.1 percent in the latest three months to $110.1 million from $106.8 million in the same period a year earlier. The company attributed the improved performance to its upgrading and expansion of certain existing stores, and the redesigning of its small-market stores. For the full year, the company is targeting earnings of 46 cents a share, up from a previous outlook of 40 cents. The updated projection breaks down to a loss of 22 cents a share in the third quarter and a profit of 68 cents a share in the fourth quarter. |
