Bvinnieb: You have a point. The buying power in this rally will evaporate once the shorts get beaten and every chart chasing long is drawn back into this game. Vix is caving here. QQQ put/call is extremely light as noted by Schaeffers. Too much complacency. So wouldn't also be a good place for houses who are long to push this even higher to dump their inventory? These guys take no prisoners. Greed is the name of the game. Bears are eating their own and these guys know it and will push it as hard as they can to take the money of the shorts and draw in the longs once again and then take their money on the downside.
