To get a better grasp of what is happening you might want to give Charles a call at their toll-free number 1-800-903-5874. Charles is probably to most informed as to how the company is developing. I called him the other day and it definitely looks like the company is progressing nicely, unfortunately the market is taking a show me approach. Personally I feel that once the market sees that Ecoprogress is delivering the goods the price of the stock will play catch up particularly since the VSE is in such a foul state at present. There are still plenty of speculators out there who once the dust settles will look for plays such as EPO instead of the now shunned mining plays. As for the recent news release regarding delinquent financials, that is being taken care of. You might also be interested in a profile of the company that Bruce Lock recently posted at his web-site Gateway to Howe Street.

All the best,
Harry

Ecoprogress (EPO) is a Canadian environmental technology company. EPO's goal is to become the Canadian industry leader in the production and sale of biodegradable and disposable absorbent products which include products such as: Feminine Hygiene Products (sanitary napkins, panty liners, tampons, pads for breast feeding mothers and eye make-up removers), Diapers for Infants,
Medical Devices & Apparel (colostomy & urology bags, surgical gowns & masks) and Adult Incontinence Pads.
EPO has secured the Canadian licensing rights to all intellectual properties derived from the research and development activities of Ecoprogress Limited (a U.K.company).
The technology for the disposable absorbent products licensed to Ecoprogress involves the manufacture of water disposable and biodegradable film known as "B-9" tm. It is a composite
material which is impervious to water on one side, yet which is soluble and biodegradable when contacted by large volumes of water on the other side.
In July 1996, EPO was granted the highly acclaimed Environmental Choice Ecologo(M)Certification for its flushable, compostable and biodegradable sanitary napkins. This prestigious
award brings many benefits to EPO as the Canadian Ecologo(M) is one of the most coveted environmental licence in the world. In order for EPO's products to be authorized to carry the Ecologo(M), the product must be biodegradable, flushable, have maximum absorption and
retention coefficient.
The Ecologo(M) is an extremely effective marketing tool. Many government departments are obliged, either mandatorally or politically, to buy Ecologo(M) designated products, where available,
in preference to non-environmentally positive products. The Ecologo(M) together with the unique selling point of a biodegradable, compostable and flushable feminine hygiene product gives the product the ability to capture a significant market share.
EPO's products will be sold through two very large grocery store chains commencing in July 1997, Overwaitea Food Stores which are located throughout BC and Save-On-Food stores which are located throughout BC and Alberta, EPO's products will also be represented in natural/health food stores across Western Canada.
