Sometime back in March 2000, I think it was, I made a comment to the effect that it was much more likely that it would be dozens of months, not tens of weeks, before the market was 'healthy' again.

I don't claim to have special knowledge, secret algorithms or personal gurus. It seemed like a simple conclusion, to me, after all the excesses and how history in the market has dealt with same.

I expected but was surprised just the same to see how pervasive the dogmatic bullishness (or regular blindness) was.

My sense is that many people have 'blown up' their accounts yet there still seems to be plenty around to step in their shoes.

And so it goes...
