WSJ - AUSTRALIAN PRESS: Telstra-PCCW JV Cools On MobileOne August 21, 2001 Dow Jones Newswires SYDNEY -- Negotiations for Telstra Corp. (TLS) and Pacific Century CyberWorks Ltd.'s (H.PCW) joint venture Regional Wireless Co. to buy Singapore's MobileOne Pte. Ltd. have been suspended, the Australian Financial Review reports Wednesday. The paper said people close to the negotiations think no deal was likely to come to fruition for at least a month as the parties can't agree on a valuation. Telstra has 60% of the joint venture, while PCCW holds the remainder.
