Do you think i'm 'pressing it' 'harder' than the numerous guys whose posts i, one person, am merely responding to? Do you consider their dozens of pathetic posts to each other on the topic to be 'pressing it' in any way?

I would not "characterize" what they were doing as "pressing. " "Ganging up" maybe. " Piling on" would be best but for the implication that their principal had previously scored a take down.

Do you in some way disapprove my approach to lies and the defense of lies and feel yours is superior? If so, why?

As I said in an earlier post, I didn't see the language you took exception to as lies and I really didn't "get" your rationale for treating it as such.

Do you feel that if someone tells me to 'cool it' i should, as you have offered to, then 'shut up'?

No. We are different people in different scenarios. I did not mean to imply anything about what you should do.

I am a direct person. I prefer when others are direct, generally. I don't want to spend a lot of time trying to figure out what they mean any more than I want to read through the Acts to get a single point from Greg. Another thing about me is that I encourage feedback. I feel comfortable asking Neo for feedback because I'm confident that he would always be constructive. I know that I can't always gauge if I've overstayed my welcome so I would be receptive to feedback from Neo on whether I had done that. My use of the term "shut up" was overstated as a reflection of what I think is sufficient rapport between Neo and me that we can say those things to each other and understand that it is friendly. My post to Neo was based on all those things.

Your scenario is entirely different. I would quickly pull the power cord to protect my PC if anyone told you to shut up. <g>
