Tom,

On foreclosure...I've done a little dd looking for a publicly traded company that handles foreclosure procedures (red tape) for financial institutions....thinking that maybe that business should (could) be good sometime in the future. So far I haven't found anything except some small privately held companies.

I'm beginning to think that easy credit for consumers is somewhat of a ploy. It allows the working stiff to consume products and services that their somewhat constricted income would not normally allow. It seems like a convenient way to hold down employment costs yet allow workers to believe that they can obtain (afford) goods and services that they may really not be able to afford. The rates charged for most of this credit seems usury...but this method of "phantom" wealth has been passively accepted and maybe encouraged by the "powers that be". It certainly fuels the economy.<gg>

Just thinking.
