Please paste here where I, rather than characterizing something CH said as demeaning, presented it as an
'attribution.'

Well, what you said was "your demeaning cracks made
about women of a certain age."

Now, I suppose you could say that you wee only saying that you found the cracks I made demeaning, not that I had actually made demeaning cracks.

But if you try that, then you can't object if I should about "E's slurs against menopausal women" and defend that by saying "well, I interpreted them as slurs." Or if I defended a statement about "E's hatred of decency and honesty" by saying "well, I interpreted her remarks as hatred..." Of course I wouldn't say those things. But if I did, I wouldn't be quoting you but just claiming it was my interpretation.

So, you need to define the terms you're going to use. But expect that you will be expected to live by your definitions.

Was your post saying to me "your demeaning cracks" an attribution, or merely a characterization?

You pick. But be ready to live with your choice.

I am fully aware that although Chris demeaned women

Now that is totally absurd. I'm amazed that you don't see how absurd it is. You have changed since the days we dallied together in the glade. Then, you appreciated my attentions. What has changed? Could it be that you have . . .
