Re Good news on Itanium. Sun must feel like General Custer at Little Big Horn. More enemies each day, with brand new weapons. Wonder if Sun will ever relent and support IA64? I know I am kinda late with this ... but I have just viewed the Intel webcast of April 2001, where Paul O. showed the "2 tons Itanium systems " slide and commented that "it's really a pity that Mr McNealy - who said he never saw an itanium processor - is not around today ".
