Trading ranges are going to cause me a big tax bill next year, but I'll pay it gladly as it can be even more profitable than buy and hold in a directionless market. The ira will be up nicely into year end. I hope the trading ranges don't end. These stocks are moving 20-50% in their ranges. I can take some out of that in between the lows and highs and leave some of the pie for the greedy guys.
