First of all, you misquoted me. And you even put it in quotation marks. So it's time for retraction/apology number 2.
I did Not write, as you quoted, "a man criticizing a woman". And later you wrote, again attributing to me in quotation marks, "naturally a man has a right to 'criticize a woman,'"
I wrote "When a man criticizes women."
And since you put my statements into quotation marks, both times, you can't get away with claiming you were characterizing, or interpreting. You flat out misquoted. So I will await your retraction and apology.
This is not mere semantics. Surely you recognize (don't pretend here, please, to an ignorance you don't possess just to avoid conceding the point) the difference between criticizing a single person and criticizing a class? Of course you do.
As to whether I "understand this," I understand your point. Yep. I do. I fully do. Absolutely. I understand what yo are saying, I understand what you are implying.
I just don't agree. But of course that's not what you were asking me to do. So we're both happy. |
