What is most interesting to me is that anybody I know and have known, including my mother, didn't have any 'problems' 'going though' menopause. LOL!
It's a great myth!
As to your mother, well, maybe she just hid them from you. Not many mothers admit to their children what they're going through, IMVE. (That's In My Vast Experience, in case you slept through Acronyms 414.)
As to nobody else you have known having "any problems," well, either you have a remarkable set of acquaintances, or you're not very perceptive. Again IMVE.
I'm curious now as to your remark here, "if you can't get a bit of fun in your life, what's the point of being alive?? "
How are you relating this to living with -- and LOVING, of course -- a 'menopausal woman,' if I may be so bold as to inquire?
That's for us to know and you to have absolutely no way of finding out. However, let me just say that tenderness and humor remain very important to my view of a successful marriage. |
