Arthur:

You are stupid if you think I am only listing the books I have read. I've read many pop management philosphy books that have not been worth the paper they have been written on... sort of like your posts. The books I have listed are the ones that have shown through time and logic to be the best in their respective fields. They are the ones that text books quote from and develop their thinking from. Two of the strategy books are actually textbooks used MBA classes policy/strategy classes. It is actually incredible that you have not even heard of them. Ask any MBA student who has taken a strategy class and they are quite familiar with those books or the authors.

The authors I recommended are academics _first_ basing their books on extensive studies and research and making logical hypotheses from that research. You can stick to your textbooks that were written in the 1920s or you can update your knowledge. The choice is yours.
