Lawrence, It's all about money and has nothing to do with
power or ease of use. You get what it takes to knock the other
guys out of the market and that's all you'll ever get.
The Apples and Netscapes are giving you what you have now and
as long as there around you'll get more.
Post #104 on this thread points to the plight of the Win 3.1 user
aptly.
If it weren't for Netscape, fully three quarters of the world's
Win 3.1 pc's wouldn't be able to utilize the Internet effectively.
If some good browser aps for office come along the economic life
of the Win 3.1 pc could be extended for an additional 5 - 10 years
and screw MSFT and INTC.
