We don't need an uptrend to make money. A flat market just going up and down in a few issues is enough to make a freaking mint. In the meantime, I'm using some trading profits to accumulate stocks I think will do well after the market turns even if they do head lower for a while. I'm keeping the majority of the cash I had from selling last year and just using my trading profits from stocks in a base but going nowhere fast to accumulate others. Working for now anyway.
