I made an error on Bush tax cut, saying top 400 richest receive as much as bottom 40 million. It's actually 4500 and 140 million. Which is even worse. That means the Bush tax cuts were chiefly done for the 4500 richest people in the country and now we have no surplus left. Not to mention 33 billion in tax breaks for Big Energy which just robbed us of another 100 billion. Republicans care to try and defend that thinking? Why didn't they support a scaled tax cut to help struggling families trying to make it? Instead, you just gave the private jet business a nice boost. I really don't understand why any average American would vote for such policies. And certainly it can't be the "charisma" of GW and Cheney. My answer is that the GOP spin doctors and campaign trail lies basically fooled tens of millions of Americans. Only explanation as every Bush voter except 4500 families has lost money. Big-time. And we also get our environment reamed in the process. So you get more toxins in the air, water and fewer trees and wildlands fo you and future generations. This gang has got to go. Democrats, Independents and Republicans alike, we all have to fight this corrupt thinking or it's going to put us in even worse shape.
