rocky could last longer than iom.
i had a computer with a 100mb zip drive built in. i had a computer with an external 100mb zip drive. I have used that external 100mb zip drive on two computers since. I have it at work. But the computer at my office has a cdrw drive. So, I rarely use the zip drive except to read zip disks i have previously created. now, my computer at home, which had the built-in zip drive crashed and I replaced it with a computer with a dvd drive and a cdrw drive. the 100mb zip and the 250 mb zip won't be used by me- and i guess many others-much. i have stuff on zip disks at home and work. I can copy that to cds and bring the cds home if i want the data. i have been a bad boy and not properly labeled and organized my floppies, zips and cds. the zips were easier to label than cds are.
