Mr. Staya,

I too have talked to Russell Godwin on several recent occasions while my shares have declined from what I thought was a bargain .39 to today's .18

I called PSG 2 days ago to grill him on one of his current recommendations for a doubling, yes MXR, and he believes strongly in it.

If R.G. is full of it, then possibly .18 is not the bottom. If he and PSG are correct about Mina Claudia etc. then the upside will be there for those with patience. I for one am not impressed with the current downtrend and think that caution is extremely warranted.

I am reminded that for every point the VSE is dropping, it is the equivalent of the DOW dropping 8 or 9 points. From a technical perspective, the breakdown of support at the 1000 level has me kicking my own butt for not going to cash then, and waiting to bargain shop on the rebound.

Does anyone have any new on FIRE starting to trade again? All that I can determine is that it is being delayed due to overly cautious regulators.

Mining is perhaps the most underperforming and least favorite sector in the Cdn. markets at present.

Hoping for the best and soon,

Newman
