The only ADSL stock I own is PAIR. When I say waning I speak in terms of the future. It is not the hot tech on the block, but it is ready for today. CAP or a form of it is faster than HDSL and is also ready for today, but has more deployment requirements than HDSL. Is a greater cost to the RBOC. DMT, or AMTX is the tech of the next wave. But even in the future when DMT is common place I think HDSL will still be around. Cost to benefit ratios will come into play. You may be only able to afford a Hyundai and it will serve you well. You may be able to afford a station wagon. Or you may be able to afford a sports car. Different needs and abilities to pay will keep all of the techs around for many years to come. But bragging rights will go to the guy who has the DMT rag top. Though I will be happy with my Hyundai.
