I was watching a program about US currency on the History Channel yesterday, and if I heard correctly what was
said, at the time the program was made there were about $500 BILLION in US currency circulating outside the
US, with about $250 billion circulating inside the US.

I would enjoy seeing links to any information that confirms or contradicts this, and hearing discussion about the
implications for the US dollar, gold, oil, inflation, etc.
