Transcendence, to me, implies more knowledge, power, and goodness as necessary qualities of any God deserving of attention. You ask more than I do! Though power alone would tend to make one pay 'attention,' I guess. But if we mean actual admiration, i'd only ask that He use His power kindly, and not be an egomaniac. To go as far as to be deserving of worship, well, then omniscience and power along with goodness and compassion manifest would be the trio of choice. And really I would want Him to transcend ego. Happy birthday! Here's a poem that refers to a person much older than you! -- but maybe it'll make you laugh anyway. It's by one of my favorites, Stevie Smith. "Autumn" He told his story to Mrs Courtly Who was a widow. "Let us get married shortly," He said. "I am no longer passionate, But we can have some conversation before it is too late."
