kleht - Re: S&P data motherlode I found another of my long lost links for monthly S&P closing data. The table on the link goes back over 50 years to January 1950, but the real bonus is that the data set is maintained and kept up to date. The bad news is you need to so some of your own massaging of the numbers. The good news is for monthly percentage change, you need only to copy and paste the raw data into a spreadsheet, after which you can play with it until the cows come home. There's also lots of other data on this site if you like to crunch numbers - enjoy! economagic.com
