Stocks sold off sharply Friday as a stronger-than-exected job
report poured gasoline on inflation fears and sent the bond
market up in smoke.

Robert Wibblesman, portfolio manager at Strome Susskind Inc.
in Santa Monica, Calif., said the market's decline was a shock
to everyone's psyche. He expects further selling as investors
adapt to the outlook for higher interest rates.
Wibblesman expects continued problems with personal computer
and semiconductor stocks. But he likes stocks with a play in
communications involving band-width and speed.

"I think the actions of your portfolio should dictate your
cash position," he said. "You should weed out stocks not
working well. I'd lay off the market until there's an end to
the selling. Those stocks that afterwards emerge into new-high
ground could be good candidates to buy."
