Hi Ray,

I had not thought of looking at the files by date. When I view all of the *.dll files created in the past day however, I come up with 275, mostly because I had to revert to a previous system image and then go about reinstalling programs:-( What makes the problem more magnified in this case is the fact that I have Norton Utilites(bought today) along with McAfee Antivirus, so I am a bit reluctant to delete anything from McAfee even though they are the ones who most likely caused all of my current sufferings.

Was not a very good Sunday for me to say the least. I have had many computer issues over the years; most amounted to some time spent learning about the specific issue and getting the resolution implemented handily. This is one of the worst experiences I have had though.

PS, the last time the system was backed up was 12/5/00:-(((( Complacency on my part I guess.

Regards,

Brian
