Hello guys

I have been off line for a while but now back on with a new riig!
Just looked at the last two dozen posts and here is my two cents worth .

Steel started to go out of fashion at the end of WWII Steamship and railroads gave way to aircraft and plastics moved in on autos and other steel using stuff/

The PC is no longer the dominant driver of the semi industry.
The equips invest for capacity and technology so while the capacity outlook may be bleak the tech demand will pick up first in order to increase productivity, lower costs, improve quality [Moores law] If and when a few start to adopt 300 mm, copper, low-k. smaller geometry, and new materials etc others will have to follow

the future lies ahead MEMS solar panels VCSLS PHOTONICS AND EVENTUALLY SPINNING ELECTRONS!

We are taking off into a revolution that may be greater than steam or the internal combustion or aircraft etc.

Hopefully greenspan wiull raise margin requiremnts instead of interest rates if he wnat to skiw the growtr og thje weaolth effect. Maybe he should have stuidied economics

there is a difference between the semi and semi equips on the one hand and the dot coms and e coms ont the other. the media guys should eventually learn the difference and so should we

Meanmwhile there are a bunch of companies oout there withe lots of cash, good earniings and prospects. But not alll, so look at the
fundamentals and ignore the experts! they do not play the very small caps because the funds are not interested in nickels and dimes and brokers do not dare suggest a stock that has a small capitalization and/or low trading volume
for starteres look at CVV API ASYS TGAL and not so tiny EMKR which is losing money but spending more on R and D

comments and//or criticisms welcome
