Not my oil and gas amigo, belongs to Ralphie and the boyz over there in Calgary ... far more of us in this country depend for a living on forestry than on petroleum, where largely the sale price just gets split between the companies and the province of Alberta ... that's just a guess, don't have the figures, but i'll bet it's far far more in forest products, especially in this province

Those damn salmon - all efforts to teach them to stay two hundred miles out until they hang a left and come straight into the nets have failed miserably, that sure speaks to the quality of education in this province ... alaskans catch Washington salmon too, btw, don't know about the Oregon runs, but i know that the interests of my neighbours have been at times quite allied with those of fishermen of Puget Sound and the peninsula, they've been at local meetings .... one friend here has been fishing for thirty years, this month for the first August ever he just gave up and went for tuna out off Cape Flattery, he's there now
