I find it interesting that the Republicans aren't talking about scaling back so-called socialist programs; they're talking about expanding them. A lot of right-wingers who hang out in Silicon Investorville refuse to acknowledge this fact.

1. Drug benefits for senior citizens.

2. Shoring up Social Security.

3. Shoring up Medicare.

4. Expanding health-care coverage to all children.

The social agenda of both parties is similar. They only differ in the details and in amounts of money to fund these programs.
