to all the experts on WinMe ....

I've this one box with the Me O/S factory installed ...
P4 Dell 8100 ...
spent a wee bit of time trying to find the hidden secret (to me at any rate) of how to turn the double clik activation into single clik ...

where is the lil thing ????

as it is the single O/S I have other than 98SE, I'm tempted to just install 98SE over on top of it ...
but I would like to try it out a bit more
but all this cliking is tiring me out .....

oh yeah ...

where is the command to have the hourglass pop up when it is going to look for the next screen ...
SI is so dadblamed slow, and quirky at times ....
I'm not sure that it is the habit of single clik OR the O/S or what ...but the hourglass does NOT come up on SI when it is refreshing ....
and I don't like that either .... ggggg

any thoughts?
