I get a kick out of the fact that the right-wingers on this thread who pay income tax at a 28 percent individual rate still defend mega-corporations like GE, which paid less than 9 percent last year in income tax to Uncle Sam, thanks to corporate welfare.

The right-wingnuts start screaming about job creation and the like, even though GE and virtually every other mega-corporation has been downsizing to enhance shareholder value.

Bush's courting of union votes is a joke. I laughed out loud last week when I saw the photos of him shaking hands at the Colorado factory. The Republicans and GWB have absolutely nothing to offer the working man, which is why virtually every union in America endorsed the guy who got the most votes on Nov. 8.
