Mike, I have not been following the political situation much lately, but I would agree that the media seems to be more favorable to the liberal rather than conservative viewpoint.

Here is one argument that is interesting: A friend of mine thinks that the republicans tend to be worse for the market because the average person in America tends to become less enthusiastic during their reign. The argument is that since the republicans tend favor the more wealthy folks, and are less in line with women on those issues, a majority of the population tends to unhappy about this, and spends less as a result. This is very simplistic of course. I think the fact that Bush is an oil guy is factor, it seems to me that he is out of touch with the tech industry. Sometimes I think he is just out of touch overall. Hope I am wrong about this. Having heard him answer questions, etc. a few times, I am left with a sort of empty feeling. My own views are sort of in the middle between the two parties, but it depends on the issue. Sometimes I agree with the republicans, sometimes with the democrats, sometimes with neither. Right now I am more interested in what is good for the tech sector, which I think is the key to America's future.
