More than a few businesses last year paid no income taxes whatsoever. We're not talking about mom-and-pop start-ups. We're talking about large corporations that employ scores of lawyers to avoid paying any federal income tax whatsoever. Everybody in my shop pays taxes. Or to put it another way, I don't know of anyone who makes 30 grand a year who does not pay taxes. On the other hand, there are corporations that make millions of dollars a year that pay no taxes. I guess that's your definition of "tax fairness." Then again, that's why you vote for Republicans and I don't.
