What would a deflation do to timberland, Terry?

Better we get stagflation. My read of the odds says we do.

But, of course, there's go guarantee.<G> 60/40 is about the best I can give it. That's why, in addition to large positions in the gold shares, I'm sitting on a load of cash in an all T-Bill MMF.

There's certainly more deflationary risk in the system now than in decades. Otherwise Pumpspam wouldn't be printing money at the highest rate in over 20 years (according to Morgan Stanley economist Steven Roach).
