You wouldn't.
I don't know of any conservationist entities that know squat about producing energy.
You comment on things you know nothing about all the time. Environmental organizations have done nothing but study energy production and energy policy for 30 years.

California has nothing to do with this issue.

You clear air act crap is just that.

Clear evidence of your complete arrogance. There are at least 300 energy production facilities still operating, producing a large percentage of total national electrical power, and probably a majority of them coal fired, that were exempted from the Clean Air Act in 1970.

I've seen no data or news that any extensions have been given to any so called dirty plants.

What? You mean Fox didn't report this? I'm shocked!

I never said burning coal reduces CO2. I said the plants were supposed to be retrofit to reduce CO2 emission.
