Dale:

Why is backward compatibility so important? So what if the LS-120 can read a 1.44 floppy and a 120 disk! Why is that important? What I see as important for a computer user with alot of info on floppies is the ability to transfer files from the Zip to the floppy and vice versa. Most PC's have bays available for both an internal floppy and Zip so the backward compatibility of the LS-120 isn't, in my opinion, a strength at all. It is simply a way to save drive bay space, which isn't that big of a problem.
