Tax cut would have been OK if smaller and not skewed toward the very rich. But of course the right-wing of the GOP serves and favors the very rich. Wonder anyone else votes for them. And then they accuse the Dems of being big spenders. Ha! Bush's 33 billion to Big Energy in tax breaks? That's 33 times our current surplus. I like all these right-wingers coming to the defense of the very rich and big pollutors too, as if the billionaires and oil magnates need their help. You know I have many rich friends but not once have I heard any of them complain about taxes. Know why? They all have trusts, offshore operations, write-offs galore, great accoutants and they all pay much less than their tax bracket. Frankly most of them don't mind paying to keep this country healthy. They'd rather live here than anywhere else. But the right-wingers give them the tax breaks anyway adn squander a good part of the surplus, about 20% of it just on the 4500 richest people in the US. Forbes went so far as to say deficits are the best thing for the country so we can invest in T-Bonds. If he didn't own a big magazine and fund his own campaigns nobody would listen to him. But what do expect, his father was gay. The son has to be a little twisted in the head.
