Hi Mucho Maas, thanks for the pointer. At 3% downpayment, the house should simply become a trading play, after accounting for the 5% two-way commission. J6P typically are not great at daytrading the market, and cannot be expected to do well by trading the house. Job moves may dictate when the house needs to be unloaded, and the times are typically not convenient or seller market friendly.

It is troubling that many people learn home economics and finance from watching CNBC, and are thus ill-equipped for modern life.
