Hi John, Thanks for the clipping. Some of the descriptive were mentioned in bits and pieces in HK newspapers, and thus the collective attitude here is "let's go when we are made to feel welcomed". While the urgency to migrate from HK is no more, many mainlanders are heading there for education and migration. Generally the less wealthy HK and mainland folks migrated to Australia, with the wealthier ones choosing US and Canada, and this in part is because of the perception of discrimination. The problem of a giant empty piece of land refusing to take in legal immigrants is that the less wealthy or talented don't care, and the illegals care still less.
